This is an ancient temple , in chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. It is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara . The deity of here is also known by the names , Balaji, venkateswara, govinda , venkitarama, srinivasa etc. The temple is located in a hilly region, here you can see a seven sacred hills . the presiding deity here is one of the form of Lord Vishnu. The legends says that , the temple was built in 12 th century. The temple reflects excellent architecture. The architecture here is a blend of chola , pandya, pallava architectures. The dome of the temple is fully gold plated. It is located at an altitude of 853 m from the sea level.
You can reach here either by using vehicle or by foot. The foot path is about 15 km long. This temple is a famous pilgrimage in Andhra Pradesh . Number of monks, saints, devotees , are visiting every year.
Another attractions near to this temple includes , a water falls namely papanasam and a park .

The malampuzha rock garden is located at malampuzha in palakkad district of kerala. The renovation work of this garden completed at a cost of Rs 47 lakh . The rock garden will be inaugurate by the Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan .
The famous rock garden was constructed by Nek Chand . it is believed that it was built in 1995 . The renovation works are controlled by Nek Chand Foundation. About sixty cement statues repaired during the renovation work. In addition to the repair work , new statues are placed . the security lights installed in different parts of the garden . the metal grills are implemented to prevent touching of statues .

The perunnal celebration begins with the hoisting of the perunnal flag on april 28 . Usually thousands of pilgrims attends the perunnal ceremony .
In this year the perunal ceremony begins with a procession followed by the hoisting of flag by Yuhanon Mar Thedoros , he is the metropolitan of kottarakkaraa – punalur diocese .
The peculiar feature of puthuppalli peruannal is , its rituals are very similar to the rituals in temples . on the 10 th day of the festival , that is in may 7 the famous VECHOOTTU take places . In the penultimate day of the vechoottu the parishioners from the puthuppalli and Ericadu villages will come to the church , in a grand procession and they bring firewood to the church . These firewood are used to prepare meals for the vechoottu

The western ghat ecology expert group identified 25 ecologically sensitive areas in kerala this classification is based on the criteria of sensitivity scores of different regions . the meeting of the WGEEP committee will be held in thrissur in may 3 -2011 . The union ministry asked the panel to estimate the status of the ecology and earmarked this areas as ecologically sensitive zones for notification. The committee will also take the precautionary measures for protecting and rejuvenating the ecologically sensitive areas in the western ghat regions .
The committee will submit a detailed project report to the union ministry on june 5 -2011 . the studies reveals that Attapadi, Athirappally, Sholayar, Malakkapara, Vythiri , Nelliampathi hills , Konni and Ranni are on the list of the committee.
In munnar the places near to forest stretch will be considered as sensitive areas so they left untouched. The tourism developments permitted only in the less sensitive areas . The WGEEP committee will also discuss about the controlling of ecotourism activities in the western ghat areas .
