Draksharamam is a famous pilgrimage in Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. This sacred place is located 17 km away from kakinada . It is about 40 km away from Rajahmundry . Here you can see a temple with beautiful sculpturing . the temple is dedicated to Lord siva. A sacred tank , namely ‘seven godavari tank’ is located near to this temple. The temple built in Chalukya and chola architectures. The place is also known by the name Dakshina kasi (southern Banares) . Veeranatyam an art form , is very much famous here.

Kolleru lake
Kolleru lake is a beautiful lake , part of Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. This lake supports the drinking water needs in this area. A rare variety of pelican birds are surviving here . This place is an idle location for these birds to build their nest . A famous writer Bernier , who came here during mughal rulers, described about this place in his book .
Pakhal lake
It is also a beautiful lake in godavari district. It covers an area of 12 sq miles. Pakhal lake is surrounded by beautiful landscape. The lake have a good collection of fishes, otters and alligators.
Laknavaram lake
It is also located in godavari district. It is very similar to Ramappa lake. The lake is surrounded by three small bunds . even though it is an artificial lake, it looks like natural one.

The chittoor district is famous for ancient temples , pilgrim centres. Millions of devotees are visiting , the famous Venkateswara temple every year. The kalahasthi siva temple is also an ancient one. A group of temples here known by the name Panchaboothakshethra . most of the temples in Chittoor district reflects vijayanagar architecture.
