Gandhi hill is a beautiful monument , located in the heart of Vijayawada city, in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. The monument is dedicated to great Mahatma Ghandi, father of Indian nation. A huge library and a hall is associated with this monument. It have rare collection of images . The statue here have a height of 15.8 m . it is the first Gandhi monument in India , built on a hillock .
Another attraction in Gandhi hill , is a planetarium . A huge telescope and a camera is set here to observe the natural beauty .

Ooty is popularly known as Queen of Hill stations . this hill station is a part of Nigiri , where eastern and western ghats meet. In early 1800’s , brittish people first identify the beauty of ooty. This hill station is occupied by tribal peoples like kotas, Todas, Kurumbas , Badagas, Irulas and Panias. Nilgiri means blue mountain. Ooty is at a height of 2240 m . it is the headquarters of nilgiri district.

The summer temperature is in between 10 degree to 25 degree C. in winter season temperature dip to 5 degree C.
The settlement in ooty began in 1822 , by john Sullivan , with the construction of kal bangala. The first church in ooty was St . steephen’s church.

Tour operators in kerala are much worried about the newly started recession in Europe , precautionary notice issued by U K , US , Australia , New Zealand, and Canada against traveling to India. The peak tourist season in kerala will starts next week onwards . Tour operators are worried because about 50 % of group bookings are cancelled and decline in the arrival of foreign tourists. Though kerala is a perfect destination through out the year, the peak tourist season is in between October and march.
