Mahabalipuram is a famous tourist destination in tamil nadu . This town is situated near to sea shore. It serves as a port city during the time of Pallava rulers. Mahabalipuram is a world heritage site. The prime attractions here is beautiful rock structures. Another attractions is Pancha Rathas , five temples . it is believed that the temples were built by Narasimhavarman and Rajasimhavaraman. Now it is a famous tourist spot with rich cultural value. Ananthapur is a beautiful district in Andhra Pradesh . the district have number of monuments, temples, pilgrim spots ,forts etc. The forts and temples here have excellent architecture and beautiful sculptures. Most of these structures was built during Vijayanagar Empire.
The world famous , Sree sathya sai baba’s asramam at Puttaparthi is a part of Ananthapur district. Number of pilgrims are coming here for the darsan of bhagavan sai baba.
The district have a rich biodiversity . A portion of the district is thick forest .

Hemavathi
Hemavathi is a historic village located about 10 km away from Amarapuram , in Andhra Pradesh . the village was prominent during Pallava rulers, in 10 th century. At that time the city is known by the name Henjeri. The village has a famous siva temple , with excellent architecture. Here you can see another temple dedicated to Lord Siddeswara , a form of lord siva.
