Kalahasthi is a beautiful temple , located about 40 km away from the thirupathi. The temple belongs to the group of Panchaboothakshethra . it is dedicated to lord siva.  The literal meaning of panchabootha is five elements of nature.  The five elements of nature includes , space ,earth, wind , fire and water . this temple is also known by the name Vayukshetra . lord siva considered as god of wind.

Alamelumangapuram temple

It is an ancient temple in chittoor district , about 10 km away from thirupathi.  The temple is dedicated to Goddess Alamelumanga . the temple is famous for its architecture.

Govindaraja perumal temple

The temple dedicated to lord Govindaraja , a different form of Vishnu . the temple is located at the heart of the city . it also have excellent architecture .

Sri venkateswara swamy temple – a piligrimage in Andhra

This is an ancient temple , in chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. It is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara . The deity of here is also known by the names , Balaji, venkateswara, govinda , venkitarama, srinivasa etc.  The temple is located in a hilly region, here you can see a seven sacred hills . the presiding deity here is one of the form of Lord Vishnu.  The legends says that , the temple was built in 12 th century.  The temple reflects excellent architecture. The architecture here is a blend of chola , pandya, pallava architectures.  The dome of the temple is fully gold plated. It is located at an altitude of 853 m from the sea level.

You can reach here either by using vehicle or by foot.  The foot path is about 15 km long.  This temple is a famous pilgrimage in Andhra Pradesh . Number of monks, saints, devotees , are visiting every year.

Another attractions near to this temple includes , a water falls namely papanasam and a park .

Chandragiri Fort Andhra Pradesh

Chandragiri fort located in Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh. this fort has very much historical importance. it is believed that it was built during 11 th centuary. The beautiful palace Raja Mahal is inside this fort. Rajagiri palace is an archeological museum. this palace constructed by using bricks, stones, lime motor etc.
Chandragiri fort is about 12 km away from Tirupati. you can easily  reach here by bus .

Horsley Hills-Horsley hills in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh

Horsley hills is a beautiful hilly region in Andhra pradesh. these hills are named after W D Horsley, the honorable collector of Cuddapah district. these hills have wide variety of flora and fauna. horsley hills are located at an altitude of 1260 m above sea level. These hills are very much famous for Sampangi flowers. the forest area of this hills you can see a rich variety of flowering plants, which includes, shikakai, reeta, beedi, amala, sandlawood , red sanders etc. the animal life includes, sambars, panthers, bears, wild dogs , fowl etc.
Kaundinya wild life sanctuary is located near to Horsley hills, it is about 88 km from horsley hills.
In horsley hills we cannot experiance much temperature variations. the summer temperature reaches 32 degree C. during winter the templerature reaches 20 degree C.You can visit horsley hills throught the year.
How to reach Horsley hills
The near airports are tirupati and bangalore. tirupati is about 160 km and bangalore is about 165 km away.
The nearest railway station is at Madanapalle.
Buses are frequently available to horsley hills from madanapalle and tirupati.

Chittoor

Chittoor is a district in Andhra pradesh. it is on the banks of river Ponni. chittoor have so many ancient temples namely , tirumala, kanipakam, sri kalahasti , Narayanavanam, balmikipuram, nagalapuram etc. Tirupati temple is  very famous temple ,often coming about 200000 visitors a day. Another attraction in chittoor is Horeley hills. During summer season the temperature reaches 46 degree C. during winter temperature reaches a low rate about 12 degree C. the annual rainfall here is about 918 mm.
