Dal lake located in kashmir is a picturesque lakes in India. it is the second largest lake in Jammu. Dal lake is surrounded by huge mountains. the banks of dal lake is made beautiful by gardens and orchards. the lake is at an altitude of 1775 m . it is near to Tota Rani village. Dal lake is 8 km long and 4 km wide. this lake is divided into 2 parts. the smaller part is known by the name lokut and the bigger one is bod. the maximum depth of the lake is 8 m.

Mansar lake is about 62 km away from the

Mubarak Mandi Palace is one of the oldest palace in
Jammu. It is located at the heart of the city. it was built during 1824. the palace reflects the blended architecture of Rajasthani and Mugal. The prime attraction in this palace is Sheesh Mahal. The palace also have an art museum . Mubarak Mandi Complex has a historical importance , it was the official residence of Dogra Kings. From here you will get a panoramic view of Tawi River. This complex has number of halls and galleries. These are used for functions and ceremonies. The museum here is known by the name
Dogra Art Gallery. About 800 rare paintings are displayed here.
