Shey palace is located in Shey village about 15 km from Leh, it is one of the most beautiful village in ladakh. it is believed that this palace was built in 1655, by Deldan Namgyal king of Ladakh. the prime attraction in this palace is a huge golden statue of Buddha.

Dal lake located in kashmir is a picturesque lakes in India. it is the second largest lake in Jammu. Dal lake is surrounded by huge mountains. the banks of dal lake is made beautiful by gardens and orchards. the lake is at an altitude of 1775 m . it is near to Tota Rani village. Dal lake is 8 km long and 4 km wide. this lake is divided into 2 parts. the smaller part is known by the name lokut and the bigger one is bod. the maximum depth of the lake is 8 m.
