Marine Drive is an airy , picturesque place in kochi., Sealord Hotel, The Federal Towers Hotel Taj Residency and GCDA Shopping Complex are located here. It is an idle place for boating. Ernakulam Town Railway Station (North) is  about 1 km away from Marine Drive.

Kurisumudy

Kurisumudi is holy mountain located at malayatoor. It is about 1269 ft above sea level. The history says that st Thomas visited kurisumudy. He spent days here with prayer.malayattoor is a famous pilgrimage centre in kerala

Ernakulm the place with  lavish legends and legacies. Kochi have a historical significance and number of ancient temples are seen here. The colossal places of the Mharajas of the region speak volumes of the rich architecture of the part. The great Indian philosopher Adi Sanakarar was born in kalady, who promulgated the doctrine of Advaitha which means ‘not two but one’ is situated in the ernakulam district.

The ernakulam is very much gifted by the nature. The natural landscapes of enormous beauty. A bird sanctuary namely Thattekkadu is also in eranakulm. The sumptuous sanctuaries swarmed with capricious birds are a very beautiful to sight.

Periyar and Murattupuzha are the major rivers flowing through ernakulam district . the chalkkudy river flows through the northern part and joints to Periyar. The thodupuzha , kalli and kothamangalam  rivers joins to form Muvattupuzha river.

The cochin international airport is at Nedumbassery, it is about 33 km from the city. Two railway stations are seen at kochi, kochi north station and kochi south station. The main ferry station(boat jetty) is located 1 km from ernakulam south railway station. From here you can go to different islands.
